How do I use my Curl Band?

Our Heatless Curls Kit includes 1x hair clip, 2x scrunchies and 1x Curl Band.

IMPORTANT: Your hair must be damp for best results. This is very important as your curls form as your hair dries. It is important that your hair is moist to such an extent that it is dry the next morning. If your hair is not dry when you wake up, it means that the curls have not formed properly and will therefore fall out quickly.

Step 1 : Attach your Curl Band to the top of your head using your hair clip.

Step 2 : Twist your hair around your Curl Band. Take one section of hair at a time. Once all the hair is twisted around, finish with your scrunchies. This process takes a maximum of 4-5 minutes.

Extra tip! Make sure the hair is twisted in the right direction. The curls should wave away from the face, as this gives the neatest result.

Step 3 : Waiting game. For the best and most durable result, we recommend that you sleep with your Curl Band. If this is not possible, you can wait 3-6 hours, after which you will see a fine result.

Step 4: Take out your Curl Band. Gently part your curls with your fingers for a more natural result. Voila. Thus you have achieved heatless curls.

NOTE: If your hair doesn't curl as expected the first few times you use your Curl Band, don't worry. This is a new way to style your hair and your hair will take some getting used to. The more you use your Curl Band, the more and more durable curls you will get..
