Information on the processing of personal data

Your data security is important to us, and we therefore attach great importance to your data being handled in a responsible manner. Below you can read how Cillouettes processes personal data about you when we act as data controller. You can also read about which rights you have in connection with our processing.

Cillouettes as data controller

In connection with the operation of our company, we process a number of personal data. We do this so that we can serve you in the best possible way. We mainly collect and process ordinary (non-sensitive) data.

What personal data we collect and the purpose

We process personal data about you in a number of different situations. Read more below about our treatment in the various situations.

Visitors to Cillouettes' websites

When you visit Cillouette's websites (e.g. https://www.Cillouettes.dk/), Cillouettes can process information about your IP address as well as information about your computer, device and browser.

We also process information about your visit (e.g. information about the way you enter our websites, how you navigate around them, which pages you visit, content you look at, your searches, advertisements you have seen, etc.). This information is obtained through cookies, log files and other technologies.

We also process data that you give us in connection with your use of the website, e.g. when you fill in a form or register online, including your name, company name, company address, work telephone number/mobile number, e-mail address, title, product interest and other information you provide to us.

We use your information so that we can make relevant services and products available to you and to improve your experience of our websites and online services and the services and products we offer. We also use data to show you content on our and others' sites based on your activities and preferences, and to limit the number of times you see the same content.

Our basis for the processing is our legitimate interests (data protection regulation article 6, paragraph 1, letter f) or your consent (data protection regulation article 6, paragraph 1, letter a and the cookie decree § 3).

Customers and potential customers of Cillouettes

When you are a customer/potential customer of Cillouettes or a contact person of one of Cillouette's customers/potential customers, Cillouettes processes personal data about your name, company name, company address, work telephone number/mobile number, e-mail address, title, your purchases, payment information and information from publicly available sources and other information that you provide to us.

We process personal data for the purpose of being able to fulfill the agreement with our customers, in order to deliver the services, invoicing, keep statistics and carry out quality control as well as to maintain our customer registers and provide general service, marketing and sales to our customers and potential customers.

Our basis for the processing is the agreement with you (data protection regulation article 6, paragraph 1, letter b) or our legitimate interests (data protection regulation article 6, paragraph 1, letter f).

Recipients of marketing and participants of competitions

When you receive marketing from Cillouettes or participate in competitions, we process information about your name, company name, business address, work phone number/mobile number, email address, title and product interest. We also process information about your preferences in relation to marketing or communication as well as your use of the marketing we send you (including, for example, whether you have opened an email from us, whether the email has been read and which links you have opened), and information that you otherwise provide to us.

We process your information for the purpose of marketing our company and the company's products, creating and administering you as a subscriber to marketing, as well as administering competitions, drawing winners, etc. We use the information about your preferences and your use to understand the way in which our customers receive our marketing, and to improve the marketing towards you and our other customers in the future.

We will only send marketing material to you by e-mail, text message or via another electronic channel when we have obtained your consent to this, when this is required according to the rules of the Marketing Act.

For our newsletter, we have established separate terms: When you sign up for Cillouette's newsletter, you give Cillouette's consent to process your personal data (data protection regulation article 6, paragraph 1, letter a and marketing law section 10) solely for the purpose of receiving newsletters and marketing material. You can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter (data protection regulation article 7, paragraph 3), this is done by clicking on the link "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of the newsletter. Your information will then be deleted, unless we have another legal basis that allows us to continue to process the personal data.

We also use data about you to show you content on our and others' sites based on your activities and preferences, and to limit the number of times you see the same content, and to measure the effectiveness of our content and marketing.

Our basis for the processing is our legitimate interests (data protection regulation article 6, subsection 1, letter f) and/or your consent (data protection regulation article 6, subsection 1, letter a and section 10 of the Marketing Act).

Collaborators and/or suppliers to Cillouettes

When you are a business partner or supplier to Cillouettes or are a contact person at a business partner/supplier, we process information about your name, company name, business address, work telephone number, email address and title as well as publicly available information and other information that you provide to us.

We process the information for contract management and to receive goods and services from our suppliers and business partners and, where relevant, to fulfill agreements with our customers.

Our basis for the processing is the agreement with you (data protection regulation article 6, paragraph 1, letter b) or our legitimate interests (data protection regulation article 6, paragraph 1, letter f).

Other general purposes of the processing

We can enrich the information described above with information from other sources. It can be publicly available information – including information that we obtain through commonly available sources.

Information that we have obtained for the purposes described above may also be processed by Cillouettes in order to comply with laws and regulations to which Cillouettes is subject in connection with the operation of our business or to fulfill various reporting or information obligations under to applicable laws and regulations (Article 6, subsection 1, letter c of the Data Protection Regulation).

If Cillouettes sells all or part of our business or sells or transfers our assets or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or a substantial part of our business, Cillouettes may transfer your information to the party or parties that is involved in the transfer as part of this transaction when it can be done according to the legislation (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f of the Data Protection Regulation).

Finally, Cillouettes can process your personal data to enforce or defend our or third parties' legal rights or legitimate interests, in cases where this is necessary, factual and proportionate (Data Protection Regulation Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c).

Sharing your data with others

Cillouettes may pass on your personal data to other suppliers and/or service providers in connection with the normal operation of our business.

Cillouettes may also pass on your personal data to a public authority in situations where we are specifically obliged to pass on your personal data pursuant to legislation and notification obligations to which we are subject.

We also receive technical data from analytical third-party suppliers, including Google Analytics and Facebook Analytics about your visit to our website. You can stop tracking by Google Analytics at any time via the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

We try to limit the passing on of personal data in personally identifiable form and thus the passing on of information that can be attributed to you personally.

Cillouettes also entrusts your personal data to data processors, e.g. in connection with the administration of our IT systems and in connection with marketing. Our data processors only process your personal data for our purposes and on our instructions. We enter into data processing agreements with our data processors to ensure that the necessary security is in place and to protect the information and comply with our data protection obligations.

Our basis for the processing is our legitimate interests (data protection regulation article 6, paragraph 1, letter f).

Retention period, data integrity and security

Your personal data is not stored longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. When your information is no longer needed, we will ensure that it is deleted in a secure manner.

It is our policy to protect personal data by taking adequate technical and organizational security measures.

Your rights

As registered, you have a number of rights according to the data protection regulation. If you want to exercise your rights, please contact us.

You can - unconditionally and at any time - withdraw any consent. This can be done by sending us an e-mail (see e-mail above). Withdrawal of your consent will have no negative impact. However, this may mean that we cannot fulfill specific requests from you in the future. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before it is withdrawn. Furthermore, it will not affect any processing carried out on another legal basis.

You can also - unconditionally and at any time - object to our processing when it is based on our legitimate interest.

Your rights also include the following:

  • Right to access: You have the right to access the personal data that we process about you.
  • Right to rectification: You have the right to have incorrect personal data about yourself corrected and incomplete personal data completed.
  • Right to deletion (the right to be forgotten): In special cases, you have the right to have personal data about you deleted before the time when we would normally delete your data.
  • Right to restriction of processing: In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted. If you have the right to have the processing restricted, we may in future only process the information – apart from storage – with your consent, or for the purpose of establishing, asserting or defending legal claims, or to protect a person or important public interests.
  • Right to object: In certain cases, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, and always if the processing is for the purpose of direct marketing.
  • Right to data portability: In certain cases, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to have this personal data transferred from one data controller to another.
